If your view through your window is a little cloudy, these quick tips will help you to upgrade your view.
Windows provide a great natural light source and, if you have been at home for awhile, you've probably pulled back your blinds or curtains to let in some sunshine. Dust particles, dirt, and anything the wind blows ends up on your window panes, making them look less appealing as time goes on. If you have a little time and are willing to put in a little elbow grease, grab these easy to find supplies and let's get to work.
Supplies:
bucket
warm water
microfiber cloth
baking soda
soft bristle brush
paper towels
squeegee
Choose one or two of the items below:
white vinegar
Dawn dish detergent
black tea
Windex
Check the weather and make sure that the day you are choosing to tackle your windows will be warm, bright, and sunny then follow these easy steps:
Spray the window tracks and sills then spray the window panes with an equal mix of Dawn dish detergent, vinegar, and warm water.
Scrub the windows in a circular pattern using a microfiber rag.
Using a soft bristle brush, gently scrub the tracks and sills clean. Rinse and wipe with warm water to eliminate any leftover debris.
Follow up by spraying the window panes with Windex or your favorite glass cleaner and wipe from top to bottom with a squeegee using a zig zag motion.
Repeat this process every three months to keep your windows sparkling.
